Algae Light Drop-In Photobioreactor System- Batch Culture

The Algae Light Drop-In PBR System is a patented modular photobioreactor solution designed to optimize microalgae cultivation across a wide range of tank configurations and applications. This system is a drop-in unit, enabling easy integration into existing setups. End users must supply their own tanks, allowing flexibility to use a single large tank or multiple smaller tanks to achieve the desired volume.

Each system includes submersible LED units paired with a single watertight control box. Each 200W Algae Light is designed to illuminate 200L of culture, and models are available with 1 to 5 lights for tank volumes ranging from 200L to 1000L or the equivalent in smaller tanks (e.g., 5x 55-gallon drums for 1000L).

Engineered with submersible LED technology, the system delivers precise control over light intensity and distribution to ensure optimal photosynthetic efficiency. Using principles of internal illumination, the system enhances light penetration and uniformity, ensuring a consistent euphotic zone for productive algae growth, replicating the efficiency of high-performing outdoor algae ponds. Energy-efficient LEDs operate at up to 1W/L power, balancing effective lighting with sustainability to minimize operational costs.
