Brainy Briny: Carrying Capacity Based on Food Availability

Finding the carrying capacity on a system based on food, using brine shrimp and microalgae

Mission:  To find out how many algae cells (food supply) are necessary to keep a Brainy Briny (Artemia) alive. 

Simply stated:  With an equal concentration of algae added to multiple containers, we will add an increasing number of brine shrimp. The algae will make O₂ but only enough to support a small population. You will observe after 24-48 hours and see how many shrimp the community can support.
