Finding LC50 (lethal concentration for 50% death) for a substance using Brine Shrimp

 This test involves exposing Artemia larvae to a test sample for the purpose of determining the concentration or dilution levels that would cause the death of 50% of the organisms (LC₅₀) exposed over 14 days.   

 Simply put, you will hatch brine shrimp, transfer 10-individuals per flask, add a ‘test material’, wait a few days and see which concentration of test material kills 5/10 animals.
