Algae Culture Lighting

Light is the key physical component for photosynthetic growth.   We manufacture our own function-built LED lights for growing algae.   

We welcome custom orders!  Please email us with your tank size and target organisms you wish to support.  Algae-Light is patent pending.

Concepts to consider:

• 1 watt/ L using an Algae-Light LED is a good starting point.   For dense cultures >1watt/L, for slow growing cultures <1watt /L 
• 60% of the power is given off as heat
