Algae in the ocean fixes more carbon dioxide than all the plants on the land.

High School Physical Science

Algae do more than half of Earth's photosynthesis. Measure it in your classroom.

Algae take carbon dioxide out of seawater as they grow, and the pH moves with it. An indicator makes that shift visible, which gives a chemistry class a living example of equilibrium and of what happens to the ocean as it absorbs more carbon dioxide.
