Beaker Bags are durable plastic bags designed for us in the classroom, field, or laboratory. The Beaker Bag has two sets of scientific markings:
- (1) graduations on the bag to 500mL
- (2) a 1-mm grid for measuring organisms inside.

HOW DID BEAKER BAGS COME TO EXIST?
Roughly three-months into the pandemic, one of our outreach partners, Foss Waterway Seaport, came to us with a challenge: “we need to do science projects with elementary and middle school students, we have a tight budget and the kits can have nothing dangerously breakable”.
We were initially stumped, but after a few brainstorming sessions we developed the Beaker Bag!
If you want to do kid-friendly experiments and do not want to use glass beakers- this is your Beaker Bag!
Beaker Bags are being used in Algae Research and Supplies’ algae growing and zooplankton kits. They are available at AlgaeResearchSupply.com

*If placed on their sides while filled above 300mL, they may develop a slow leak. We are working the the bag mfg for the next run to improve on this "feature".
